All-time high for felling 2006
According to the 2006 timber felling report 19.13 million cubic metres of timber harvested under bark were utilised in Austrian forests in the year 2006. This is an all-time high. 21.32 million m³ of timber harvested in 2007
According to the timber felling report 21.32 cubic metres of timber harvested under bark were utilised in Austrian forests in 2007, which is another record figure after 2006. Timber fellings showed a plus of 11.4 percent compared to the preceding year (19.1 million m³ of timber harvested) and a plus of 33.1 percent compared to the ten-year average (16.02 million m³ of timber harvested). > more about: 21.32 million m³ of timber harvested in 2007
